Description:
This endearing old study is taken from the works of the Victorian artist, Arthur Fitzwilliam Tait. It's entitled "The Dash for Liberty", and has oodles of baby chicks escaping as quickly as they can from an open birchwood basket. Their lifelike poses and facial expressions are just so sweet, you can almost imagine their hasty retreat and little cheeping voices! The chicks are superbly detailed. This study was originally printed in 1889 by the Louis Prang Company. It is laser printed on heavy stock, and measures 7 x 14 inches. These were commonly called "A Foot of..." in Victorian times. Great for the kitchen and nook areas, and it will frame up beautifully. **Please note that this print is copyright protected, and may NOT be reproduced in any manner without our consent** Please remember to go back to Gallery one and add shipping when you're all done shopping!
