Title: Pale Pink Cabbage Roses and Lilacs
by Emilie Vouga

This oh so gorgeous print is by the Victorian artist E. Vouga. It is a splendid study of soft pastel pink cabbage roses paired with pristine white lilacs on an aged patina background. In Victorian times, the pink rose symbolized that the bearer was "An Ambassador of Love", while the white lilac stood for "Innocent Love". The artwork is just gorgeous and the details amazing. Please note: the background is muted grey brown tones, and does not have any blue that the scanner is picking up in the photo. The flowers just pop on this dramatic background. This laser print on heavy stock measures aprox 9 x 16.5 inches in the classic half yard long size, ready to frame.
