Title: Bride Pink Cabbage Roses Print
by Paul de Longpre

Description: This superb print showcases a bouquet of cabbage roses, one a creamy white bridal rose that just blushes with a hint of pink, and the other a pale pink rose. It is by the Victorian artist Paul de Longpre. In Victorian times, the pink rose symbolized that the bearer was An Ambassador of Love, while the white bridal rose stood for the virtue of Happy Love. The background has a nice light tan aged patina that compliments the rose bouquet perfectly, and the white rose has a bit more white than shown. This study is laser printed on heavy stock, measures aprox 10 5/8 x 15.25 inches, and will fit perfectly into a standard size 11 x 14 inch frame.
